12 Years Old Boy Died Instantly When He Touched Electric Cable While Playing Kite

The Obrero neighborhood, in the southern area of ​​Santiago de los Caballeros , is in mourning following the tragic death of Will Melvin Fernández , a boy of only 12 years old, who lost his life when he came into contact with an electrical line while trying to recover his kite trapped in high-tension cables.

The incident occurred on the third floor of a building where Will Melvin, like many children and teenagers in the region, enjoyed the traditional activity of flying kites. However, the everyday entertainment turned into a tragedy when, while trying to reach the toy, he touched the cables and received a fatal electric shock.
