Police confirmed that it was a motorbike bomb. Although the preliminary report mentioned seven people injured, the number has since risen to 14: seven police officers and seven civilians injured.
According to the commander of the Metropolitan Police of Cali, Colonel Carlos Oviedo, one person died and is presumed to be a FARC dissident who was carrying the motorcycle bomb.
