The accident at the Skarpa Bytom-Rozbark Climbing Center occurred on Friday, February 2, 2024, after 4 p.m. The police report that a 22-year-old man fell from a climbing wall. As it turned out, he was climbing without protection.
– We received the report at 4:44 p.m. A 22-year-old man fell from the climbing wall at the Skarpa Rozbark Climbing Center. Preliminary findings show that he climbed without protection. He did not connect to the rope and this caused the man to fall - says senior sergeant. Anna Oczkiewicz, press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Bytom.
